Singapore

I'm in Singapore again for I-don't-know-how-many-times. Oh yes, I'm grateful of course, at least I'm going somewhere for my holiday, but I am really bored. I have always spend my holiday here and I don't know where to go already. But, still, it's better than not going anywhere on holiday.
I heard my sis saying that Singapore Government has restricted the work permit. It gives me a lot of pressure as it means that in order to find a job here, you must get into local unis like SMU, NTU or NUS. My target has always been SMU, but my sis told me to apply for NUS also because if I can't get in SMU, I'll have the chance to enter another local uni. Problem is, I'm not interested at all in NTU/NUS. I wanted to enter SIM in case I am not accepted in SMU, but now without the work permit, how can I apply for job after graduating from uni? So frustrating. I don't wanna work in Indo. It just doesn't suit me.

Anw, there was Istana Open House yesterday for Idul Fitri. Stunned! It was totally amazing. Although the queue to get in is freaking long, but the view inside paid all! There was this huge grass field and the Istana building was breathtaking. Too bad we didn't bring any cam, couldn't take any pics [Blame everything on my lazy brother who refused to go out with us. He is the only one with cam beside my second sis]. One thing I resented was the fact that foreigners need to pay! It's SGD1 only, but still, WE HAVE TO PAY. Then when we wanted to enter the Istana Building, we also need to pay SGD2. Total SGD3 to go access all accessible places. We only got to see one floor inside the Istana building (In fact, it's not even the whole first floor), cheat people's feeling only. We also met Singapore's former president (don't ask me his name, I don't even know who he was in the first place). He waved at us, but we just stared at him. My mom knew him, but I didn't. I just stared at him with 'who-are-you?' expression. Hah.
Nice trip yesterday, but I really hate queuing. We queued for about 1 HOUR! That's so long for me. Like we wanna go into Universal Studio's rides.

After the trip, life will be back to normal. This time I really need to prepare for my SAT. I'm so dead if I don't pass the required score for SMU (which is 1900).
Guess I'm just gonna fight for my future.

It's only 8 days since I went here but I spent so much money already.

I doubt I can survive for another 17 days. ><
Now I really feel that going out with my sister is so much convenient. There's no need to think of how much money left and and just buy whatever I want.
But, at least I learned something here. If I never go out alone, then I will forever and ever be the same old me.

Well, anyway, we went Orchard (AGAIN) today. It's never ending I tell you. If you really go shopping, you need 4 to 5 days to actually finish going through all those money-sucking shops.
God, things here are so beautiful. I just wanna buy everything I see and bring them back.

Another day in Singapore ~

13th June 2011.
IT'S ONLY 9 DAYS LEFT BEFORE THE LAST EXAM RESULT IS OUT!!!
I am really really nervous. Indescribably nervous.
After the result is out, we can somehow know what class are we going to enter. I hope I never ever move out of science-2. Ahh! I want my future class to be 3 Science 2.
And hopefully, nobody [I REALLY MEAN NOBODY] is kicked out. We had built a tight bond between us, I don't want it to be broken, especially when this year will be the last year of us.
I actually can't believe that I'm going to be a senior in this school. I mean, OH MY GOD, I'm third year student already. That's super fast!!!
Being a third year student means I need to think of my FUTURE already. What I'm gonna take in Uni, what I'm going to do. That part is totally frustrating, since I don't really have goal in my life. And not to mention those tests. SAT, IELTS, TOEFL. Gosh, that's a lot, isn't it?

But, I think I already know what school I want to enter.
First choice is none other than SMU [Singapore Management University]
Oh mann, heard that it's so hard to enter this school. Ah, must have faith in myself.
Second choice is SIM [Singapore Institute of Management]
I'm going to SIM if I can't enter SMU. Maybe I'm going to UB like my sis?
And I think I'll be taking communication department. I'm not sure about this but, yeah, I quite like it.
Other than communication, hmm... business? neoooww, I don't like business. I want to enter art school, but I'm not sure what I will be after I graduate. So, art is not possible.
I still need time to think of more departments that are suitable for me.

Go back to my trip, today I went to somerset there to SHOP.
I freaking love shopping. It's FUN, FUN and FUN.
The feeling of buying things are so nice. But the money. T_T
Bought something in Cotton On, Forever 21 and New Look today. Ah, and also bought nail polish from face shop. FINALLY I have black color nail polish. I'm dying for it!
I'm looking for white nail polish now. But I heard white nail polish is very hard to apply? Is it?
Gonna try it out soon.

Shopping in SG makes me wanna live here. Because all those clothes are more suitable here than in Medan. Wearing tank top and shorts is WEIRD in Medan. People will stare at you, but here no, so it's quite nice. =D

Oh, I also went to Toshiba also morning, all because of my dearest laptop. It spoiled again. I think I need to change into a new one. One year spoil once, you think I very much money is it?
Sadly, the PC Show just ended last weekend. Dang! Know like that I better go and buy laptop last Saturday. I even went to the place where the PC Show was held!! [Read: Suntec City].

These 3 days are really awesome. Went to nice places to eat, then went to shop. Wah, how fun is life?
But, I still don't have photos from my trip. All is still in my sis' cam. Haven't take it from her yet.
Lazy bum.

BBQ ... Party (?)

11th June 2011.
It's been 5 days since I went to Singapore. Life is FUN FUN FUN!
You know why? Cause we are on HOLIDAY.
I doubt it'll be this fun if we are here for 'school'

This morning (10 a.m. like that), it rained very very heavily. I thought 'Dieee! Can't go already la today." But thank God, the rain stopped at 3+ in the afternoon.
We went to Pasir Ris at about 5. Our original plan was 4 p.m., but because all of us are 'lazy people' we started our journey at 5.

The BBQ was so fun! The food was superb, but couldn't finish all because there was like so much.
I totally love the BBQ-ed marshmallow. Awesome-ness overload.
Haha.. I'd love to sit there and eat all those yummy marshmallow.

We took quite a lot of pics, but all were in my sister's cam. So I think I'll just post it erm.. maybe tomorrow?

This holiday is so exciting. But one thing I'm worried of is MONEY!!!
You know, I LOVE to shop. In fact, I love shopping to the core. It's just so fun to buy things and bring 'em home.
I really hope I can still survive for another 20 days here. If cannot then, too bad loh, big sista probably won't give me any more money. :(

Oh yeah, G-Market is a total money sucker!! I want to buy EVERY SINGLE THING there.
All the clothes are so cuteeeee, they are also quite cheap, but, G-Market makes you wanna buy more.

I can't believe that I'm going to Singapore already tomorrow.

Everything feels so unreal.

Anyway,

Been packing for the whole day today. I'd never been like this before. Usually I packed the night before I left. Maybe because I am too excited already..

I hope this holiday will be as amazing as I planned for it to be. You know, I've kinda set a goal for this holiday. =D

Well, let's just see if I achieve it or not. Most probably I won't but who knows?

I've nothing much to talk about today. I just packed and packed the whole day.

Oh yeah, something's been bothering me. I don't know if it's just me or what, but I think tomorrow might be somehow 'GREAT'. Haha..

Bet you are confused by this, but no worries, once this 'something' come true, I'm gonna spread the story. If no, then yeah, I won't.

So, I saw photos of #2science2 trip to Brastagi just now. Awww, how I wish I went there with 'em. It's too late to say "I'm going" already now, but if next year, there's still a chance, I'm never gonna miss it. =D

Kay then, I'm going to continue packing my stuffs and I'll write again tomorrow!

I'm excited for this holiday because I am going to Singapore with my bestie!

I can't believe that Mum actually let me go with my friend. I thought she would say 'no' at first, but she let me go! I couldn't be happier.

We are leaving on 7th June, and returned on 1st July.

It's quite a long time isn't it?

Hella excited for it. :D
We planned this trip from last year's December. But that time we didn't really think both of us can go. Now, it's so near, this trip finally feels real.

We are going to A LOT of places, from mall to museum, everywhere!

I'm quite happy that we love the same places. If like museum and she doesn't like, I bet the trip won't be fun!

So, we'll be taking LOTS of pictures and I'm gonna post it all here.

I'm so excited. It's less than one week to 7th June!

But before that, there's Tiffany's birthday party [Saturday, 4th June]

The dress code for the party is "Glamour". I went out to look for a dress yesterday and fortunately got one that's quite nice.

I'm not really sure if it fits 'Glamour' though.

Here it is..

I'm going to wear it with black stocking. But I dunno what shoes to wear. I don't have a matching shoes with this dress. :(
